This song has been on repeat since forever. Discovered this amazing album (Gilgamesh) while I was on the plane to Bali. Such beautiful music with meaningful lyrics. It's so rare to find a combo like that in today's music. Take me back to the good ol' days where songs held such deep significance and touched the heart. Nothing against modern/mainstream music but I personally like those that has passion/intensity injected into it. It's really magical when you plug in your earphones and its nothing but you and the picturesque view from the side window. A sort of calmness I've never felt before. Indeed, music does have its effects on you.

Finally back from OGL camp and i have 2 words to describe it ; No Regrets. It was a really uplifting and meaningful experience being able to work with different people. One of the more exhausting camps but definitely worth my 3 days. Couldn't have thought of a better way to spend the last few weeks of my holidays. It has opened my mind and soul to more things in life and have a better perspective. I thank god for the wonderful friends I've met and the little things that make the whole journey worthwhile.

Trip to Bali was really amazing because;

#1 Food is Cheap.

Don't get me started. You can find these scrumptious dishes at just about any corner of the streets. Prices are really affordable (One bowl costs less than a dollar!!!) Their Es Teler is so gooooood and authentic they just spam avocados in it. I've found a strong liking for that fruit during the trip. Just too bad Singapore has it really expensive. I cannot explain the joy of having 100% pure fruit juice at just a dollar. Over here, half of it consists of ice/sugar syrup at triple the price. Then again, you can't really compare the cost of living between both countries.

#2 Beautiful place with breathtaking nature

#3 Intricately carved statues everywhere.

You'll love it if you're into arts like my brother.

#4 You gain more knowledge.

Mostly thanks to the taxi driver we hired for the entire trip there. The Balinese people are very inviting and friendly. Thank god we were quite fluent in Bahasa Indonesia, so there was not much of a communication barrier.

#5 Trying out things for the first time.

I rode on a jet ski.

Went Snorkeling in the clear blue waters.

Went for a full body spa.

Fish spa

Played pool.

Went internet-less for almost a week (almost died hahaha)

I guess the whole point of a holiday really is to grow closer as a family and just enjoy whatever that comes your way. It was definitely an enriching and memorable trip & i'm looking forward to more :-)

Starting to think this dream catcher i got from Bali really works. Haven't had bad dreams in a while. Speaking of which i should probably start blogging more actively and update this space on a regular basis. My laziness has got to stop. I have tons of photos from the Bali trip and so many things to blog about. This week has got to be the most kickass one out of the whole December holidays. Truly truly blessed. I just need to find the time to really sit down and sort out my thoughts.

Spent the afternoon having brunch with the family/cousins and decided to satisfy the craving for something sweet by having Ben & Jerry's over at Dempsey. The place was so cozy/warm and it definitely had the Christmas vibe going on. I love the interior. I think I have this affinity for pretty Christmas lightings. The way they sparkle and glimmer makes the atmosphere so much more magical and beautiful. The ones along Orchard Road and Vivo tops my list :-)

3rd class gathering.

I guess its just really a matter of time that you realise how much you've grown closer and bonded as a class. You discover who your classmates really are as individuals and learn to deal with it, good or bad. The people whom you once thought to be arrogant/unsociable/quiet turned out to be those that brighten up your mundane school days, one way or another. I thank god for having them in my Junior College life.

Food is Good.

The things brothers do..

Updates of the past few months/days. Hari Raya Haji with ma famzzzzz. A day stuffed with food food and more food. Visited the grandparents and boy i missed them so much. They're the best anyone could ask for. The relatives came over with the kids and the house was filled with the familiar sounds/sights. Kids grow up too fast i swear. Seeing how some of them evolve from the 'kiddy' phase to the adolescence phase, it reminded me of my days back then too. As usual my room would be invaded with them jumping/screaming around. Cuties.

Hoping to keep the tradition alive for many years to come :-)

Today has got to be one of the most tiring, exhausting, draining day yet and that excludes hockey training. By the end of it, my eyes were really dry and threatening to close anytime. The weather didn't help at all either. I really hope my group will be able to breeze through the oral presentation on Tuesday. 'A' levels is no joke. The seniors are mugging hard every single day. Seeing the amount of sweat/blood(exaggeration)/tears that went into the whole project, all i pray for is that everything will eventually pay off. Grant us the strength, wisdom, mental resilience to get through the remaining pw days.

I think i just wasted 2 hours of my life on this. (Pun intended). Other than the fact that it was rather draggy and lacked depth, i was pretty fascinated by the concept of having time as currency as opposed to money. You work to gain more time.You trade time for your daily necessities, and time for the ones you love. It got me thinking.

What if you knew how long you had left to live? With the clock ticking every second, it's a constant reminder of how close you are to death. What would you do given the limited amount of time?

I'd say, just be happy/contented and leave with no regrets. Because you've only got one life. Live it to the fullest. Bend the rules here and there. Make as many mistakes as you can. Speak your mind. It's all about self-discovery; learning about your strengths and weaknesses. Taking everything in your stride. Most importantly is to have fun while you're at it.

I like to listen to people. I like it when they share their thoughts/perceptions/opinions on things that matter. I like it when they don't bother about being judged, because that's just the way they are. I like it when they're comfortable in their own skin. That moment when you realise that beneath that hard shell, is someone who's actually vulnerable and bound to emotional scars. I guess it's natural to feel that way, because we're humans after all.

Thoughts were spinning in my head, so many things were left unsaid.

It was a beautiful day. My sister and I had some quality sister bonding time on one of the weekends at Vivo. Its been quite some time since i really sat down with her and had a heart-to-heart talk. Even though there's this age gap between us, most of the stuff she shares with me are the exact same things i went through during my Primary School days. And so, it begins.

"Kakak, how do you know if a boy likes you?"

Got me stunned for a while. P5 and she's still rather uncertain. It got awkward at first, but i slowly told her that if a boy likes you, he'd find ways to tell you or show you that he does (even in the littlest/most subtle way). I was this close to avoiding her question. There's this constant pressure to do the right things and be a good example because after all, she looks up to me as a sister. So glad she understands my situation. School's been draining every ounce of energy in me and sometimes, when i reach home she's already asleep. That said, once PW season is over i'm going to prioritise the important things in life and sort things out.

Free your mind.

Da:ns Festival (What's your move) at The Esplanade was so kickass, my Sunday night couldn't have been any better. Loved the whole concept of getting the audience's participation and teaching them moves. The night i went for was for Hip-hop and Music Video dance. An impromptu plan with my brother and his friends, so i was not prepared at all. I looked pretty much awkward in a dress while others were in shorts/pants. That aside, the performances were beyond amazing. When the girls came out dancing to Beyonce's Run The World, i could feel the energy literally. As wrong as this sounds coming from a female, they were sexy as hell. It brought the house down. The atmosphere and the crowd was great. Following that were a few other performances from different crews. I'll definitely come down for next year's event. Best thing about it, is that it's free! (So Singaporean). Teehee

I couldn't have asked for a better week, really. If there's anything i realised is that i have such amazing friends and family. So so so blessed :')

The week started off with my birthday and the first day of Raya. No doubt, i felt the slight difference in atmosphere after grandma's passing. I miss having her around. Just her presence alone can make my day. The usual uncles/aunties/cousins came over. With tons of good food and good company, how can Raya ever get boring?

This year has got to be one the best birthdays yet. I had 3 birthday surprises and i genuinely didn't expect any at all. The first two was from my mum and i celebrated it with my relatives/friends. She is forever going behind my back and organising it with the help of my siblings/close friends. I love her and the efforts she puts in just to make my day a good one.

The third was from the pj girls during the hockey match at ccab. Sneaky sneaky girls. They were such sweethearts, i was rly touched. That, coupled with the boys' team victory lifted my spirits. hehe

Not forgetting teacher's day where i finally collected my School Graduation Cert. Stepping into the school brought back so much fond memories. Throughout the 4 years in St. Margs, i learnt that it is secondary school where you meet friends that would stick with you through thick and thin & life isn't all about succeeding academically. The morals and values learnt from the daily devotion sessions, i will take with me everywhere i go.

Honey Joys.

Glossy yummy goodness.

The 3 trays i made were gone in less than a week! The only reason i love making these is because they're so simple and hassle-free. Just got to keep experimenting with the proportion of ingredients until you get the right balance. The first batch was too crisp, but it got better after a few tries. Going to try baking chocolate chip muffins/cookies with my sister some time soon!

On a side note, the long awaited weekends are here. & as much as the feeling of getting psyched for raya seems to fade as i grow older, i'm still looking forward to it :-) Stuffing my face with yummy food and surrounding myself with awesome people. The nexxt few days are going to be crazy. I'll be juggling between school work and helping mum out in the kitchen. God bless my soul.

I feel like i'm living by some sort of monotonous routine. My life pretty much revolves around school and as much as it is killing me slowly, i know I've got to suck it up like a man and press on. Hockey trainings are definitely more challenging due to the fasting month and everytime i'm home all i wanna do is get a warm shower and plonk/lepak on my bed. Not to mention, homework is forever piling up. So you see there's very limited time spent with the family. Therefore, i'm going to make these weekends vvvvv fruitful. Despite the hectic schedule, i found time to watch two of Yasmin Ahmad's award-winning and critically acclaimed movies. Sepet and Gubra. I was moved to tears, literally. To be honest it was one of those movies where i never bothered pressing the fast-forward button. Every single scene was so significant, so meaningful and impactful, and every actor was bursting with personality. You guys should really watch it if you have the time. I promise its none of that cliche love stories.

My darling Orked. God is answering my prayers. Maggie has decided not to have the baby. She said she won’t destroy her future because of one stupid man. I guess that means me. Orked, I don’t want to talk about her anymore. I want to talk about us. I tried to write a poem in Mandarin about you. I wanted to make you understand how I feel.

As the letter continues, we see Jason make a turn through some back alleys. We see some men in two cars catch sight of him, signal to each other, and start tailing him.

JASON: (continues)
But no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t. I tried for days. The more I wrote, the more empty my words sounded. At first I felt panic. I couldn’t sleep for many nights. But then, the panic would go away everytime I saw your face, or just heard your voice. I used to write poetry because to me, it was like writing letters to God; to tell someone I couldn’t see, how I felt inside. Then finally, God replied. With a poem more beautiful than anything I had ever written. He gave me you.
We see one car follow Jason into the alley. Realising he’s being followed, Jason speeds towards the end of the alley. The other call pulls up on that side. Jason brakes. We see him flung through the air as the men come out of their cars, whip out their guns and open fire at him.

Izah finally came over to my place for buka together with the uncles, aunties and cousins. Its been quite a while since the house was buzzing with kids and people. I miss that.

Eternal flame

Currently playing tracks from one of my fav bands, Relient K. The last time i remember listening to them was way back in '08. Good 'ol days.

The weekends was mainly spent at my cousin's wedding. I feel so blessed to have amazing cousins that never fail to brighten up my life. If you know me well enough, you'd know how much i love weddings. The sights, sounds and atmosphere, the beautiful bride and groom, good food, great company. What more can you ask for right?

I was in charge of the guest book at the entrance, and it was my first time! Pretty intimidating to interact with the guests initially, but Zah and i got used to it after a while. We took numerous Polaroids for them and pasted it on the book. Had 5 boxes of films to spare, and obviously we took some shots of our own hehe. Despite the heat(as usual), the event went smoothly. Loved the refreshing change of a live traditional band instead of the usual deafening karaoke. Hopefully when my turn comes, it'll be as amazing(if not better).

Gravity.

Feels good to be back here. The week went by pretty fast and honestly results for the Mid year exams wasn't too pleasing. It really got me thinking. Made me reflect on a lot of things. How is it that even though you gave your all for something, it just doesn't turn out the way you expected? Even though you tell yourself everything will be okay, only to find out it isn't. I've gotten over the disappointed phase and i say life goes on. I definitely know my parents don't deserve these kind of results judging on the amount of confidence they have in me. Right now, i've got my mind set on promos which is in less than 11 weeks. Till then, i'm making a promise to myself to study conscientiously and consistently. Fingers crossed, this WILL work this will work this will work out well.

On a side note, i stepped into a classroom today and saw "You reap what you sow" in bold words on the wall. I'd like to think its some sort of message from the one above. ;-)

Been watching the season 7 of Desperate Housewives to relieve my mundane weekday nights at home. I always love how every episode carries a significant moral and makes me think about the things that are occurring around me. I really wonder if i can handle such a heavy responsibility of raising a family. Let alone, have a stable and secure career that can promise a good income. The future really scares me. But come to think of it, who isn't right?
Right now, i need to set my priorities right and really really really buck up.

I'm forever awake at such an ungodly hour, refusing to sleep. Just had a heart to heart talk with my brother and i'm so glad we're able to share things and relate to each other's situations very well. I've come to realise that whatever things that happened in the past, should just be left as memories. Looking back at it only hinders you from focusing on what's in store for you in front. Time passes, people change, situations change, relationships either get closer of drift apart. That's all part of life, and as they say, change is inevitable & constant. The most important thing is to always be true to yourself and live life with no regrets.

Pretty Reckless.

There's nothing better than waking up to a beautiful Sunday morning with french toast for breakfast. I'm so glad the long holidays gave me plenty of time to catch up on things i missed so much. A few updates :)

1. Tried Gongcha for the first time. hehe not too bad. Still think Koi would be better.

2. My sister has constantly been updating me about her dreams every morning. Kids have such wild imaginations.

3. I find it amazing how i vividly remember bad dreams but i can never seem to recall the good ones.

4. I miss my brother. He is so nice. Goes off to a school camp without telling me/mom. pft

5. I prefer listening to catchy/calming/dreamy instrumentals nowadays.

Friday at town with the girls. Despite the unbearable humid weather, it was so much fun. Headed to the flea at scape to check out their stuff. Who doesn't love clothes that are cheap & in good condition right? The thing i've learnt about shopping at fleas is that you've really got to be extra hardworking to go through the piles of clothes in order to find the nicer looking ones. Most of the ones in the racks are either overpriced or common.

Got a dress for 3bucksssssss and i decided to try my luck & bargain for $2 instead. Epic fail. The girls got tops and rings and necklaces so everybody went home with at least something ^^

Ayam Penyet Ria at Lucky Plaza for dinner. It was hilarious. Everybody was quiet cos the spiciness of the sambal chilli was insane. Watery eyes, and burnt tongues. But the sensation of something exploding in your mouth is not that bad, provided you have water to wash it all down. Chilled at Starbucks and Amy and Dania joined us. Love you guys to bits.

Going on food tumblrs in the middle of the night only ends up making me crave for food that's out of reach. Why do i always do this to myself? hahahaha. Whatever it is, food is always good. Always there for you, be it at the highest or lowest points of your life. Just remember, You eat to live, not live to eat. (with a few exceptions here and there of course ;) )

Speaking of which, i seriously need to get my butt out for a run. Too much studying has taken a toll on me physically.

The Big 18th

I've come to realise my posts have minimal words. Cos i like it that way ;)

So earlier today was a surprise birthday celebration for my brother. Just a simple celebration at home. I am such a pro. I sneaked into his room & decorated it with pretty tinsels and balloons while he was engrossed in Avatar in the living room. He didn't suspect a thing even though the kids were being way too obvious -trying to hide presents behind their backs, blowing balloons and whispering loudly. Glad he was happyboi93.

As much of an ass he can be at times, i still love him. (why so mushyyyyyyyyyy) Hope he grows to be a mature handsome good-hearted man & gets a decent girlfriend when the right time comes.

Spent my entire Sunday with the family and despite the impromptu plans, i must say it turned out well. All of us wanted to be adventurous and settle for something out of the ordinary. Headed over to Arab Street for brunch at a Turkish restaurant. Food was yummy and the rainy weather made it so much cozier. Shopping @ Arab St is really really good. The row of shop houses have one-of-a-kind items and they're not that overpriced. I love how laid back and relaxed the atmosphere is.

After that it was Peninsula cos parents wanted to get bro his advanced birthday gift- a semi acoustic guitar. Cute guys who can play the guitar really really well without trying too hard is seriously such a turn on. I wish i could play an instrument but i'm so hopeless at learning notes.

On a side note, So glad GSS is on now. I'm so psyched to grab as much clothes as i can before its over. My wardrobe is.......a mess.

Long weekends are one of the few things i look forward to when i'm shagged as ever from schoolwork. Just a few updates/random facts on what has been going on in my life as of lately.

1. I'm starting to learn how to drink coffee.(slowly but steadily). As much as it is gross and bitter , i must admit it works wonders when the caffeine starts to kick in. Where have u been the past 16 years of my life?

2. I was reading through my old diary and it brought back so much memories.

3. The weather!!!!!!! (need i say more?)

4. Currently missing so many people.

5. Selena Gomez's 'Who says' is annoyingly addictive and its been on replay since forever.

6. The past week has been a whirlpool of emotions.

I just felt a sudden urge to write something on this neglected space of mine. There's so much things going on in my life as of now and i feel like i'm trapped in this whirlpool of thoughts/emotions. Junior college life has definitely taken its toll on me. I feel like my energy is being sapped out of me everyday. As much as i love the people and daily dose of laughter, i can't deny that it seems like i'm living by some sort of monotonous routine. Then again, i knew that this was coming sooner or later. I guess as of now, i gotta really press on and never give uppppppppppppppp.

Getting back the results is like a heavy burden lifted off my shoulders. At the same time, it's so tough to make the right decisions that'll affect you for the rest of your life. There are so many people around you telling you different things, but in the end, it all boils down to what you really want for yourself. Guess this is all part of life, and we've got to take it like a man and keep our heads up.

Been to a few jc open houses lately, and it's been really an eye opener. Hopefully it turns out well. JAE makes my head spin.

It's been quite a while, i must say. Life has been goooooooooooood to me lately, with a few exceptions here and there. I promised to be a optimist (Y)

I am so psyched for the long weekends ahead; Having to spend it with people i love. Last Friday was spent with the mdc girls. After early dismissal it was off to town for a little shopping and grabbing a quick bite since i was hungry to da max. The weather was Killer with a capital K. But that's okay, a little sun won't hurt will it?

Headed to Botanical gardens after that for the Long awaited farewell party. The theme was white and i luvluv it, Seeing everybody looking gorgeous and pretty. Food and games were amazing, and i had so much fun laughing and just letting loose.

There was endless string of surprises/gifts for the seniors. Cupcakes, mementos, photos, cards, cereal bracelets, mugs. I was touched. Not forgetting the company of everybody who made it extra extra special.

Catched the movie, Salt after that. Half the time my heart was beating like a bullet train. Angelina Jolie was kickass in there. A must watch! Dinner @ Far East after that with didi and then headed home. Thanks for the treat ;)

Surprise parties live up to its name.

Went to surprise Allisa at her doorstep on her birthday on Sunday. You had no idea how much planning/anxiety/panic went into it. Zahirah, Izzah and i make a good team don't we? ( ego inflated much haha) Glad you enjoyed it Allisa, even though it was just a little celebration. hehe, Me luv u long time.

Headed to Changi's T3 with the fam after that to walk around. I totally sound like a "jakun" kid, but the place is enormously huge. SIA's stewardess aren't all that i imagined to be after all. Won't say much. Then it was over to Arab Steet for a yum dinner. Great atmosphere (Y).

Went to catch Toy Story 3 @ West Mall. It was quite impromptu but i was up for it since i loved the previous parts. There wasn't a time where i was bored because every part of it was either funny/heart-warming/scary. I didn't even bother to check my phone every once in a while. 3D certainly made it cool-er. Ever been in a situation where you feel as if people come to you only when they have a problem/when they're just plain BORED and, they would love it if you could lend them a listening ear or make them the slightest bit better? Though this might seem kinda late, i'm pretty glad that Grace concert's over. To those who came and supported, you guys were such a lovely bunch. I truly had a great time bonding with seniors/juniors alike. God, i can't believe i broke down in front of everyone while giving the possibly last speech, together with the two awesome kickass vices, Tashya and Fara. I'll miss all the insane times during practices, be it consisting of ups or down. The list will never end, so i shan't continue ranting here. With that said, stepping down from cca means no more excuses for doing badly in studies. (Note to self)

School has been rather monotonous. I've been studying almost everyday, and i'm ttly deprived of sleep omg this is bad. Sigh.

After school, i met the girls @ Burger Shack. Headed over to Sogurt, and damn i was being such a glutton. It was self service, and you pay according to how much the thing weighed. Mine was 8 bucks wtfbbq, but it was gooooooood. Then it was Shar's crib.

I had the best laugh today. Chandini never fails to brighten up another one of those mundane, monotonous Thursdays. Hope you had a great visit to the gynecologist today biatch! Here's a quickie,

1. I've been having voices in my head for some time. It bothers me. I feel like i've lost my sanity cos its as if i'm talking to myself.

2. In need of some breathing space.

3. I feel like i don't know you anymore, really. This ugly/uneasy feeling i have inside me is going to eat me inside out sooner or later, because pretending that everything's okay when its not, is just too much to handle.

4. Whenever i want to do a necessity, this little thing called procrastination kicks in like a punch in the stomach. Suffocating me, draining my time out.

5. Should stop having negative thoughts all the time.

My Twin. Or not

I've decided that i won't let this space rot and have cobwebs growing all over them.

March Break has been nothing but energy sapping. Its like a train moving at full speed and i'm not surprised if its gonna crash anytime soon. My weekdays are mostly occupied with Dance practices, extra classes, meetings, and mother tongue intensives. (Not that i'm the only one)

Latihans/Essays/cramming peribahasas/ brainstorming/Doing Paper 1 and 2 in a row/trying so hard to translate that english word into malay/ ringkasan. Yeah, tell me about it.

Today, i finally had some time to take a nap after a gruelling math/chem tuition session. My brain wasn't functioning well, i was yawning half the time. I reckon she must have noticed, but didn't say anything about it.

(Talking about some bonding thing)

Tutor: ok, so tell me what's the hardest thing you have learnt so far in chem.

Me: (blurts out some shit answer) ummm, Acids and Bases.

Tutor: Huh? nono, the hardest thing you've learnt about in this topic.

Me: Acids and Basesssssssss. I think its really hard to understand.

Tutor: oh nononono, i meant like diamond you know.

(Bursts out into laughter)

At that point of time, i felt like i had my energy restored (Y) To my dismay, i switched back into my sleepy mode after a while.

There's nothing better than lazing around on a pretty cloudy Saturday afternoon, Reading an overdued library book, with music plugged in and the wind blowing ever so softly every now and then. I guess, i'll relish every moment of serenity i have currently; before the bitch March holidays kicks in. It has been one heck of a term in school. Let's just see how much time I've got for a little something called rest.

With this, i'm off to have pizza dinner w my lovely pals followed by a Lit Play. Bring on the fats, (^.^)

I seriously didn't expect people to start queuing up in the morning, when the show starts at 8pm (Whutwhuuuutttt?). Now, I know why. 5 minutes in the line, and there you have 20 more people behind you.

Left Jamie's party at East Coast pretty early to get in line with Zah and Halina. Happy Sweet 16th babe! Hope you like the present i gave you. Eggs, water and tomato sauce (??) were thrown at her from head to toe. Jamie smelt like a walking McDonalds i swear, hahahaha. Ridzwan joined in shortly after. I bumped into Jaz ^^

You know what. Only after this, i treasure my life so much more, i really do. The thought of dying at at a rock concert is such a bummer. Everybody piling on top of each other, and the feeling of not being able to breathe/being in darkness/ have the bit of energy to get up cos 654349002786561204815 people are sitting on your legs. Some strong dude pulled me up thank god. But seriously, everyone's here to enjoy themselves, and this kind of shit happens?

Another sad thing was that, every now and then, people were blacking out and the bouncers/guards had to literally pull them out one by one.. I thought the only reason they did that was because people were being rowdy. Some people just didn't give a shit on making way for them to get out, Tskkk. Opening act, Monochrome. No comments.

Paramore sounded as good as they were in their records. I have a feeling that some just have the opinion that the band's rather overrated or what not. I guess you just have to really see them live. Everyone was sweating like mad. Didn't care if i felt gross cos i was having a ball of time singing along to the songs at the top of my lungs. Though, i couldn't even hear myself among the deafening incessant screams.

Took me a good hour to figure out what Miss C's quote was all about in Geog class. Mhmmm, i could be THAT slow. Its probably one of my best humanities subject as far as i know. Push aside Social Studies, and Literature ( I find it hard to believe i've been taking it for 4 years, as of now. And which, half of it was filled with depressing failures. Go figure )

Typical Tuesday, not.

I surprised myself when i laughed so hard today. I thought it would be a trashy day altogether, with the ridiculous weather and a whole line up of the most boring subjects you could think of. Double math can kill anyone, for real. I woke up early in the morning, just to have it filled with sheer mundanity. C'monnnnnnnnnnn, could the day go by any slower. I thank god for giving me such sweet friends. I got woken up violently twice. ( hahaha, i still love you guys)

On top of that, i was freaking out for Physics Practical. I sure do hope and pray i don't screw it up. Oh, did i tell you about my dream? It felt surreal. Sometimes, i can't really tell the difference between dreams and reality. Bad.

It was set in the school hall. O'levels release of results. There i was, holding out my hand to receive my result slip. Hands trembling, and palpitations so hard i figured people all the way in the North Pole would be shocked at such an unorthodox noise. I ripped it open, and stated in bold, Physics A1. I ran to my teacher and gave her the biggest hug i ever ever gave to anyone else. Overwhelmed with elation, i flashed the biggest smile i could.

Woke up, with the thought that this could be some god given omen. Maybe, just Maybe.

But then again. Hey, anything's possible right?

Flag day was an eye opener. I was all excited during the start of the day. However, hours passed and slowly, that kid-like feeling seemed to fade away slowly as i realized how rejection felt like. If something like that came from people whom you have never met, what more those that you truly care about? okkk, sidetrack. Mostly Caucasians and Indians donated.

Lepak at Spinelli with Sharmaine & Karishma. Grabbed a bite, cos we were starvingggggggg. Walked around aimlessly around town, Cairnhill, patronizing shopping malls with a little window shopping hehehe, Yoga lounges etc,

I watched Dear John with my dear friend after. Being in school uniform was a bad idea. Polka dots are so distinct even though you're partially blind and standing 5 feet away from me. Sigh.
